Exchange 2013 How-To is up

Hi guys! My Microsoft Exchange 2013 How-To is up.
I hope you like it..

Here are the following Steps in my 4 part How-To that are available for your enjoyment.

1- Installation
2- Configuration
3- Testing

I am working on finalizing the OWAS portion. Please keep in mind that the OWAS server portion is not essential for the installation/configuration of Exchange 2013 but more to enhance the user experience within his Outlook Web Apps mailbox.

Cheers!

Daniel Moscovici.

Exchange 2013 How-To on it's way

Hello again everyone.

My apologies for posting late. I am working on some final validations on a nice little behemoth of a How-To. It's my documentation on how to install/configure and test Microsoft Exchange 2013.

My documentation will be divided into four parts and might be posted a few days a part
  1. Installing Microsoft Exchange 2013
    • Pre-requisites
    • Client Access Server Role
    • Mailbox Server Role
  2. Configuring Various aspects
    • CAS
    • DAG
    • Autodiscover
  3. Testing redunduncy
    • CAS NLB
    • DAG Failover
  4. OWAS.
Since Microsoft Exchange 2013 SP1 came out relatively recently I will do some additions down the line. The new main feature that it has is a 2013 Edge Server Role. I will try to add this point later on. I just haven't had the chance to work out a documentation for it.

Stay tuned. You won't be disappointed (I hope!)

SQL Failover Cluster

Hello again, Here is another Post to a How-To configure SQL Failover Cluster in a pure Windows 2012 environment.

This documentation assumes that you have already built the Windows 2012 Failover cluster.keep in mind, as long as you have any other solid windows Failover cluster configured , this document should work as well. As mentioned before, I used as a testing platform Windows 2012.

In a way, some people might be asking... "well why was this documentation not included with the windows failover cluster doc?". Well, establishing a proper windows Failover Cluster is a step on its own. you can go through a variety of different ways. CA's, Hyper-V to mention a few. So isolating that How-To and then building other ones off of that one to me just made sense.

I hope you find this documentation useful if not at least interesting.

Stay tuned for more as they happen :)
As always, if you have suggestions, comments etc. don't be shy!
